More new RSS filters; notably for Tony Esteves’ excellent Cigarro & Cerveja, cultural moral bellwether Belle and the MP3-rich stylings of Fluxblog. I’ve also polished up the documentation, clarified the licensing, and started factoring my Perl out into modules. shudder.
I’m looking at Syndic8 at the moment, as a clearinghouse for improving the state of RSS. Specifically, for flagging scrapers and, more importantly, bitching about bad text encoding. It’s not just “smart” quotes and €uro symbols; why do we need ubiquitous Unicode?
I rest my case.
